Accounting Specialist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled accounting specialist to join our team. As a senior accounting professional, you will be responsible for managing a diverse client portfolio and tackling technical and strategic challenges.


About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual who enjoys client engagement, problem-solving, and working across a broad range of businesses.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and reviewing tax returns and financial statements for various entities
  • Preparing and reviewing BAS, GST, and FBT returns
  • Providing expert guidance on general accounting and taxation matters

Key Requirements:
  • A relevant degree in Commerce or Accounting
  • At least 3 years' experience in Australian public practice accounting
  • CA or CPA qualification (completed)
  • Strong understanding of tax technical issues within a business advisory context
  • Excellent communication skills with experience in face-to-face client interactions
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • A team player who enjoys mentoring junior staff
