
Effective Communication Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team on a full-time, casual or part-time basis with the opportunity for a 4-day working week.
About the Role- Conduct assessments for children, teenagers and young adults who have difficulties with communication to determine strengths and areas for improvement.
- Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions that are engaging and evidence-based.
- Document therapy plans and reports that are easy to understand and outline how difficulties impact participation in everyday activities.
- Build rapport with families and provide practical strategies and ideas.
- Collaborate closely with other professionals in the Illawarra region.
- A Bachelor of Speech Language Pathology or equivalent qualification.
- Membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
- Eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number.
- A current Working with Children's Check, Police Check, First aid and CPR certificate.
- Professional indemnity insurance coverage.
- Develop and implement effective therapy plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and treatment outcomes.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
