Speech Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team on a full-time, casual or part-time basis with the opportunity for a 4-day working week.

About the Role
  • Conduct assessments for children, teenagers and young adults who have difficulties with communication to determine strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions that are engaging and evidence-based.
  • Document therapy plans and reports that are easy to understand and outline how difficulties impact participation in everyday activities.
  • Build rapport with families and provide practical strategies and ideas.
  • Collaborate closely with other professionals in the Illawarra region.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Speech Language Pathology or equivalent qualification.
  • Membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number.
  • A current Working with Children's Check, Police Check, First aid and CPR certificate.
  • Professional indemnity insurance coverage.

  • Develop and implement effective therapy plans tailored to individual client needs.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and treatment outcomes.
