Personal Support Worker Job Opportunity

Making a positive impact in someone's life is the foundation of our mission. As a Personal Support Worker, you will be part of a dedicated team that supports individuals with acquired spinal cord injuries to lead accessible, equitable, and empowered lives.

About the Role

The Personal Support Worker will provide daily living support to clients, including personal care, domestic tasks, and community outings. This role requires a high level of empathy, patience, and understanding to support individuals with varying needs and abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily activities such as grooming, bathing, dressing, and dental hygiene
  • Provide personal care including toileting, bladder and bowel management, and basic wound care
  • Support clients with domestic tasks such as meal preparation, household duties, and laundry
  • Accompany clients on community outings, including driving to appointments and social activities
Requirements
  • A reliable vehicle and current driver's licence
  • Ability to work a fixed fortnightly roster with morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts available
  • Current NDIS Workers Screening and Blue Cards
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in the field, with training provided for new recruits
