The Role: School-based Traineeship

Partnered with Murray Mallee Training Company Ltd, we are looking for Year 10 students to undertake School–based Traineeships.

As a trainee, you will work towards a Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations.

The traineeship will involve working in a branch and completing certificate requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Embracing our company's values, policies, and procedures.
  • Providing excellent service.
  • Completing all requirements of the certificate.
  • Processing sales transactions.
  • Managing stock inventory.
  • Answering phone calls to take messages and orders.
  • Communicating with customers and colleagues.
  • Building product knowledge expertise.
  • Providing follow-up services to customers.
  • Maintaining a high standard of the workplace environment.

Students who possess good written and verbal communication skills, ability to follow instructions, enthusiasm and a positive attitude, willingness to try new things, team player mentality, ability to maintain a neat and tidy workspace, and well-presented appearance will be successful in this role.

Working hours are approximately one and a half days per week. Saturday availability is essential, with additional hours during school holidays recommended.
