Children's Support Worker Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Children's Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to vulnerable young people.

The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues to provide a safe and nurturing environment, promoting the emotional wellbeing and maximizing the choices, rights, and decisions of service users.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide person-centered support to young people, promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality care and support.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting the values of empathy, respect, and kindness.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Essential: Full UK driving license, Level 3 in Health & Social Care/Children & Young People or equivalent.
  • Desirable: Good written and verbal communication skills, ability to work flexibly.
