Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) is a leading provider of testing and certification services for the gaming industry.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Adelaide, Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial information, preparing reports, and completing special projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Post employee timecards and expense reports.
  • Accurately enter accounts payable invoices, obtaining proper approvals.
  • Maintain fixed asset software, run reports, and record depreciations.
  • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and reconciliations for month end closings.
  • Generate invoices and ensure they, along with expenses, are processed accurately and timely.
  • Maintain accurate data in the accounting system, including new tasks, revenue and expense budgets, and client bill rates.
  • Invoice intercompany, domestic, and/or international clientele.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations, as needed.
  • Responsible for processing payroll for the Australia and Macau offices, including year end and tax reconciliations.
  • Review proposals for specialized billing of fixed price projects.
  • Analyze aged accounts receivable reports and notify project managers of overdue accounts.
  • Prepare account analysis and transaction investigations.
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial reports.
  • Research financial issues and recommend appropriate resolutions.
  • Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls.

Requirements

  • A minimum of two (2) years of previous experience in a related position is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is required.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Experience with Acumatica is a plus.
  • Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Must have the ability to effectively read, write, and speak English fluently to communicate with other members of the team and clients.
  • Must have the ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness.

Location

This is an in-person, full-time position based out of our Adelaide office.

Adelaide Pay

AUD 90,000
