Insurance Professional Liability and Risk Expert

We are seeking experienced lawyers to join our Sydney Insurance team specialising in Professional Indemnity and General Liability.
About the RoleAn insurance professional will work with leading insurance partners across a range of litigation matters in the area of Professional Indemnity and General Liability. Your expertise and dedication will help protect clients' interests and ensure fair resolutions in complex legal matters.
- Reviewing insurance documents and advising on coverage;
- File management including meeting deadlines and managing documents;
- Reviewing evidence and preparing advices on indemnity, liability and quantum;
- Communicating with clients both in writing and verbally;
- Identifying issues, briefing experts and analysing opinion;
- Preparing court documents, including statements of evidence;
- Drafting correspondence and communicating with other practitioners;
- Preparing for, managing online processes and appearing in Court;
- Briefing and liaising with counsel;
- Staying updated on industry regulations, case law, and emerging trends in professional indemnity law.
The ideal candidate will have between 3-8 years experience in defendant insurance work across both professional indemnity and general liability matters. You will have a proven track record of successfully handling cases and achieving favourable outcomes for insurers and insureds. You will have exceptional analytical, research and problem-solving skills with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
