Job Summary

Serve as a trusted leader and supervisor, responsible for overseeing bookkeeping operations and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of bookkeepers and provide guidance on best practices, workflows, and technical expertise.
  • Develop and implement efficient systems to streamline client operations and ensure high-quality bookkeeping services.
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and contribute to the company's success.
RequirementsEssential Skills:
  • 6+ years of bookkeeping experience with a strong background in accounting software and workflow management.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience in delegating tasks, coaching, and mentoring team members.
  • Ability to review and analyze client accounts with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Xero and MYOB, and a willingness to learn new systems and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in simple terms.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in public practice or a similar industry, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of process improvement and system optimization techniques, with the ability to drive efficiency and cost savings.
  • Experience working under pressure, managing competing priorities, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
