Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced medical professional to join our team.

The successful candidate will provide expert medical assessment and management of patients, working closely with senior medical officers, referring medical officers, and healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

  • They will support and participate in teaching for undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as other staff members.
  • They will demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team, communicating clearly with patients, colleagues, and staff.
  • They will engage in quality improvement activities and research aligned to our department's needs.

Key Requirements include:

  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent specialist recognition.
  • Evidence of ongoing medical education and self-assessment practices.
  • Proven capacity to deliver high-quality clinical services and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Commitment to teaching and experience in educating undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and ability to work collaboratively with medical and health service colleagues as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Experience and commitment to research relevant to the role and departmental needs.
