Job Summary

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled meat cutter with experience in slicing and portioning various meat cuts.

The ideal candidate will have strong knife skills, be able to accurately cut by weight and visual standard, and be familiar with commercial meat slicing and cutting tools and machinery.

Main Responsibilities
  • Slice and portion meat cuts according to set weights, sizes, and customer specifications
  • Trim and prepare various meat products (beef, pork, lamb, poultry) with consistency and efficiency
  • Operate commercial slicing and cutting equipment safely and effectively
  • Ensure portioned products meet presentation and quality standards
  • Minimize waste and maximize yield through precise trimming and cut planning
Key Requirements
  • Proven experience in a butchery, meat processing, or foodservice environment with a focus on slicing and portion control
  • Strong knife skills and ability to cut accurately by weight and visual standard
  • Familiarity with commercial meat slicing and cutting tools and machinery
  • Understanding of meat quality, yields, and handling procedures
