Job Summary
The Security Officer role is responsible for providing a security presence, remaining alert and focused, and ensuring the safety of people and buildings. As a member of our enthusiastic and customer-focused team, you will provide exceptional customer service, build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, and perform various duties including:
- Conducting foot patrols to ensure people's safety and buildings' security
- Escorting people around the site
- Ensuring property is locked and unlocked as required
- Directing and helping people to navigate around the site
- Writing reports in response to incidents
- Communicating calmly and clearly with key stakeholders
Requirements
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- Valid NSW Security Licence
- Customer-centric approach
- Willingness to undergo Rail Safety training onsite
- Full Australian working rights
- Proven ability to remain alert while being focused on task
- Flexibility and adaptability
