Job Overview

As a key member of our Biochemistry Laboratory team, you will be responsible for conducting biochemical analyses using automated and manual methods. This role involves performing laboratory tasks, participating in rotational shift rosters, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct biochemical tests to diagnose and manage various medical conditions
  • Undertake other related duties as required to support the laboratory's operations
  • Participate in a 24/7 shift roster to ensure continuous service delivery
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in science or applied science with relevant qualifications and experience
  • Proven experience working in a laboratory setting, preferably in a tertiary hospital or private Biochemistry and/or Immunology laboratory
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to customer-focused service
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a focus on quality and safety
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies
