About the Role:
This is an opportunity for a motivated Medical Receptionist/Booking Agent to join our team. Working mainly at our clinic, you will deliver outstanding customer service for patients wishing to book and attend appointments that include X-ray, Ultrasound to CT and MRI services.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Answering calls and being the friendly, professional voice that patients and referrers trust
- Scheduling appointments using our cutting-edge RIS system
- Optimising workflow to keep the schedule running smoothly
- Quoting fees and informing patients about Medicare rebates
- Preparing patients with all the information they need before their visit
- Liaising with referrers, doctors, and patients for delivery of patient medical results
- Reception duties including greeting patients, taking payments
About You:
- Medical, Dental, Allied Health Care, Hospital or Radiology experience in front desk highly regarded
- Aptitude for understanding medical terminology
- Bookings system knowledge and strong computer skills
- Excellent presentation, high level of communication and patient care skills - be welcoming and friendly
