Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver sport science support services to Australian Sailing athletes">
  • Work with athletes from the Australian Sailing Team to the State Sailing Pathway Program">
  • Develop and prescribe physiological performance factors to maximise athlete training and performance">
  • Collaborate with coaches and athletes to plan and monitor athletic performance">
  • Conduct quality control and quality assurance programs to meet laboratory compliance standards">

Requirements

  • ">
  • 3+ years' experience in sports science services">
  • Proven experience interacting with high-performance coaches and athletes">
  • Understanding of modern coaching theory and its application to training">
  • Experience planning and monitoring athletic performance to achieve performance progression">
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment">
  • ESSA Sport Scientist Level 1 certification">
