About the Role
As a Nurse Unit Manager at Central Adelaide Local Health Network, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and delivering exceptional patient care within our Health Unit. Leveraging your clinical knowledge and experience, you will lead and manage a dedicated team of nursing and multidisciplinary professionals, ensuring continuity and quality of care are at the forefront of all activities.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Effectively manage and coordinate patient care within the 5EW1 Surgical Ward
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of nursing and multidisciplinary professionals
- Ensure adherence to relevant legislation, safety standards, and contemporary healthcare issues
- Cultivate a positive work culture and empower staff to deliver exceptional patient care

Requirements
- Registered Nurse/Midwife: Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and a valid practising certificate
- Strong Leadership Skills: Proven ability in communication, problem-solving, and fostering staff development within a multidisciplinary team
- Clinical Experience: At least 3 years of post-registration experience in nursing or midwifery, with a focus on management and supervision of less experienced staff
