This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-driven professional to join our team as a Procurement Specialist.
We are seeking an individual who can effectively manage procurement processes, ensuring transparency, compliance, and alignment with best practices.
The successful candidate will play a vital part in delivering quality outcomes for our stakeholders and residents.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible to:
- Prepare and release tender documentation to potential suppliers.
- Coordinate the operation of tender review panels.
- Oversee aspects of tender closing and analysis, including debriefing unsuccessful tenderers.
- Assist in awarding service contracts relating to materials, suppliers, and specialty services.
- Research and prepare final contract documentation.
- Review and report on the utilisation of contractors secured via service contracts and their performance.
- Support Project Managers with appraisal and reporting on contractor performance.
- Provide information and protocols to internal customers.
- Arrange and deliver training programs to staff using procurement services.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Qualifications or strong experience in procurement, contracts, or administration.
- A current Class C Driver's Licence.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage time and priorities in a busy environment.
- Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management systems.
- A team player who can also work independently and adapt to change.
