Project Manager Job Description

A Project Manager is responsible for planning, monitoring and managing the delivery of projects to meet agreed deliverables, scheduled timeframes and allocated resources.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to and comply with a project management methodology in liaison with stakeholders.
  • Participate in the ongoing improvement cycle of the implementation process and ensure it is aligned with global best practices; utilising clear standards and templates.
  • Ensure successful project implementation by leading a team of associates, providing leadership and serving as primary liaison for clients.
  • Manage multiple client/country projects concurrently.
  • Manage day-to-day operations to ensure successful delivery of project scope, timelines and budget.
  • Create and manage project work plans and revisions as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Lead and manage a team of people for the purpose of achieving project outcomes.
  • Assess and manage issues and risks, applying mitigation strategies where necessary.
  • EFFECTIVELY COMMUNICATE RELEVANT PROJECT STATUS UPDATES TO PROJECT RESOURCES, STAKEHOLDERS AND CLIENTS.
  • FACILITATE COMMUNICATION WITH CLIENT STAKEHOLDERS TO IDENTIFY NEEDS AND EVALUATE ALTERNATIVE BUSINESS SOLUTIONS WITH A FOCUS ON ENHANCED CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS AND SATISFACTION.
  • ENSURE PROJECT DOCUMENTATION IS RELEASED IN ACCORDANCE WITH QUALITY AND SECURITY STANDARDS.
  • TRACK TEAM HOURS AND APPROVE ACCORDINGLY THROUGH THE USE OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT TOOLS TO ENSURE UTILISATION IS APPROPRIATE TO PROJECT NEEDS.
  • ENSURE BILLING ACTIVITY COMPLETED AND COMMUNICATED TO SENIOR PROJECT DIRECTOR AS DIRECTED BY CONTRACT AGREEMENT.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of project management methodology updates.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the ADP service offerings, solutions, and relevant templates ensuring services delivered meet the template guidelines.
  • ADHERE TO GLOBAL COMPLIANCE AND SECURITY MANDATES, INCLUDING COMPLETION OF ALL DIRECTED MANDATORY TRAINING.
  • CONTRIBUTE TO PRE-SALES SUPPORT ACTIVITIES.
  • PERFORM OTHER RELATED DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
