Veritas Recruitment is seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team. Our client is a reputable ASX listed organisation based in the northern suburbs, looking for an individual to join their Payroll team and learn from the best.
The Role
The Payroll team is responsible for providing payroll information to staff, calculating and data entry, updating payroll records, checking for discrepancies, and assisting the Payroll Manager with budgets. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be working closely with a close-knit and friendly finance team to ensure the smooth operation of payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide payroll information to staff in a timely and accurate manner
- Calculate and enter payroll data with attention to detail
- Update payroll records to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies in payroll records
- Assist the Payroll Manager in preparing budgets and financial reports
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have outstanding communication skills, a willingness to learn, and sound problem-solving and customer service skills. You will also enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing priorities.
