Job Description

As a highly skilled and experienced Operations Director, you will be responsible for leading our operations across the region. This is a critical senior leadership role with a broad remit: from strategic planning and financial oversight to people leadership, safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

You will have the support to make a meaningful impact – driving performance and shaping the future of our operations in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide overall strategic planning for the site, including setting high-level departmental goals and guiding the management team.
  • Lead and oversee major projects that involve significant operational changes.
  • Contribute to the development of regional strategies and coordinate planning and implementation activities to support business objectives.
  • Champion continuous improvement to enhance departmental efficiency and effectiveness.

A key area of focus for the incumbent will be to support growing local business and to maximise operational performance of our fleet assets, technology and workforce to create a future fit for our valued customers.

The successful candidate will provide overall strategic planning for the site, including setting high-level departmental goals and guiding the management team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Extensive operational transport/logistics experience is essential for this role, as well as commercial skills in financial, asset & fleet maintenance management. Process improvement qualifications (Lean / Six Sigma) are also highly desirable.
