Operations Director

The key objective of this role is to oversee the day-to-day operations of Council services in a remote community. This involves managing resources effectively, ensuring timely delivery of various services such as road maintenance, parks and gardens upkeep, sport and recreation activities.
This is a permanent position that requires strong management skills, including leading and directing employees, and overseeing service delivery programs. A sound understanding of Indigenous community issues and cultural awareness are essential for success in this role.
Key responsibilities include:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in management roles, with well-developed skills in strategic planning, people management, budget analysis, and business operations.
