We are seeking an experienced Cost Management Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

  • The Cost Management Specialist plays a critical role in driving financial performance and accuracy across various projects, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • This position involves developing, maintaining and tracking project budgets, identifying variances, and providing regular cost analysis and reporting to stakeholders.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations to drive business growth.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners.

About You:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering or a related field is required, with proven experience in cost control, project management or financial management within the construction, engineering or infrastructure sectors.
  • Proficiency in cost control software, financial systems (e.g. SAP or Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills are highly valued.
  • The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, able to analyze complex problems, develop creative solutions and effectively communicate ideas to stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
