Job Title

A Data Centre Operations Manager is required to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our data centres, ensuring high service levels are delivered to our customers.

The ideal candidate will have experience in data centre operations, with a strong understanding of hardware and network diagnostics. They should also be able to lead teams, mentor staff, and create strategies for continuous improvement.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prioritizing and assigning trouble tickets
  • Guiding and training data operations technicians
  • Managing mid-size projects
  • Maintaining the on-call schedule

About the Role:

This role involves frequent engagement in activities such as troubleshooting hardware and network systems, participating in site-level project work, and creating documentation. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills and be motivated and organized.

Requirements:

Proven experience in data centre operations

Strong technical understanding of hardware and network diagnostics

Ability to lead teams and mentor staff

Experience in people management and strategy creation

Excellent communication skills

Motivated and organized individual

Flexibility and adaptability to work in a 24/7 environment
