About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood professional to lead our team of coordinators in delivering high-quality supports to children with developmental delays and disabilities.

As a Team Leader, you will guide and support your team to work directly with families, understanding their child's needs and strengths. You will observe children in their natural environments to assess developmental progress and develop strategies to enhance independence and participation.

You will build strong relationships across communities and services to create inclusive pathways for families and children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide and support coordinators to deliver supports that help children build independence, confidence, and social connections
  • Work directly with families to understand their child's needs and strengths
  • Develop and recommend strategies that enhance a child's independence and participation
  • Support families in identifying goals and connecting with appropriate service providers
  • Monitor outcomes and adjust supports to meet the needs of families and children best
  • Build strong relationships across communities and services to create inclusive pathways

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood, Allied Health, Social Work, or a related field
  • Experience working with children with developmental delays and disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
