Customer Service Representative

Job Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and detail-focused Customer Service representative to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will provide exceptional customer care through timely, knowledgeable, and accurate service.

  • Answer phone calls and greet customers at the warehouse with attentive and helpful service.
  • Understand warehouse operations, distribution, logistics, food safety, and HACCP principles.
  • Advise customers on product availability and liaise with operations staff to propose substitutes when necessary.
  • Greet customers, process invoices, and payments for collection, and resolve disputes related to product returns.
  • Update and manage customer databases, setting up new accounts and recording service information.
  • Participate in regular product training to ensure accurate information is provided to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum two years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a food environment.
  • A love of good Australian food and the ability to cross-sell.
  • A pragmatic and can-do approach to all customer requests.
  • A great rapport with customers on the phone, including a sense of humour.
  • Availability for shift work between 6am and 10pm, Sunday to Friday.
