Assistant House Supervisor Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of residential care workers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Closely work with the House Supervisor to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting young people.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • A strong understanding of Aboriginal culture and values.
  • Relevant diploma or degree with significant experience, including four mandatory competencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise, lead, and support a team of residential care workers.
  • Proven experience and knowledge of the residential care field, particularly within a therapeutic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to and work with young people with social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties.
