The Role

As a Mobile Service Technician at Pirtek North Sydney, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality field service and repairing of plant and machinery to our customers. This is a hands-on role that requires travel to sites within Hornsby and surrounding areas to replace hoses in a breakdown situation or complete new installation work on a variety of machinery.

You will be provided with a vehicle, full product and job training, and the opportunity to work with a team that takes pride in their work. If you are a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a trade or field services experience in Fitting/Mechanical Background and/or Hydraulics, we encourage you to apply for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality field service and repairing of plant and machinery to customers
  • Travel to sites within Hornsby and surrounding areas to replace hoses or complete new installation work
  • Work with a team to provide solutions and build relationships with customers
  • Participate in a 24-hour on-call roster and be available for overtime

Requirements:

  • Trade/field services experience in Fitting/Mechanical Background and/or Hydraulics
  • Ability to operate machinery, use tools and measuring devices accurately
  • Good numeracy, verbal and written skills
  • A strong work ethic and pride in workmanship
  • Desire to be a team player
  • Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines and problem-solve
  • Understanding of OHS and Safe Work Practices
  • Current Manual Driver's Licence (and willing to obtain an LR Licence)
  • Flexibility with working hours
