Warehouse Operator Job Description

Our Distribution Centre in Tasmania is seeking a Warehouse Operator to play a key role in the overall success of operations. This casual position may require weekend work and involves working closely with stakeholders across the business.

The Role:

This exciting opportunity will see you contribute to the achievement of our operational goals by undertaking various tasks, including:

  • Picking orders according to customer requirements
  • Maintaining high inventory and pick accuracy levels
  • Ensuring product integrity is upheld at all times
  • Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse and surrounding areas
  • Stacking pallets to prevent damage during loading or transit
  • Adhering to all safety procedures and protocols
  • Assisting with duties as directed by management
  • Working in a refrigerated environment
  • Operating electric pallet jacks
  • Utilizing manual handling techniques for repetitive lifting of stock up to 20kg
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse setting (not essential)
  • Basic computer skills and understanding
  • Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong focus on safety and adhering to protocols
