Symal is part of the Burke to Tram Alliance with Major Road Projects Victoria, Laing O'Rourke, Arcadis and WSP. Our scope includes a new interchange connecting the Eastern Freeway to the North East Link tunnels, major road and bridge upgrades between Burke Road and Tram Road, smart traffic management technology upgrades and noise protection to meet Victoria's toughest standards.
Job OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Mobilisation Coordinator to join our Training & Compliance team in a permanent role. You will report to the Training Manager and support the Project in delivering compliance with industry requirements.
Your responsibilities include:
- Ensuring compliance with legislation, industry trends and company policies
- Facilitating business process implementation and administration
- Cleaning up data sources and managing Damstra and Damstra Learning systems
- Managing compliance audits and updating the Training Matrix as required
- Coordinating training with internal and external providers
- Providing general administrative assistance
You will work closely with the Training Manager and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes. If you have experience in administration, human resources or a related field, we encourage you to apply.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs our Mobilisation Coordinator, your key responsibilities will be:
- To implement company policies and practices to ensure compliance with legislation, industry trends and best practice
- To facilitate the rollout of business processes and procedures
- To manage and maintain accurate records for subcontractor employees
- To provide general administrative assistance and support the Project team as needed
You will work closely with the Training Manager and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes. If you have experience in administration, human resources or a related field, we encourage you to apply.
Skills and QualificationsWe are seeking someone with:
- More than 2 years of experience in a similar role or administration role, preferably in the construction sector
- A qualification in Human Resources, Business and Administration preferred but not required
- Damstra and Success Factors experience preferred but not required
- Adaptability and strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
