Job Title: Outdoor Educator

We are seeking an exceptional educator to lead our outdoor education and health programs. As an Outdoor Educator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging curriculum that caters to diverse learning needs.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have relevant teaching qualifications and experience in outdoor education and physical education. You will inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential while fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead and develop the school's outdoor education program, incorporating activities such as camping, hiking, and environmental studies.
  2. Teach VCE physical education classes, focusing on developing students' physical literacy and promoting healthy lifestyles.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement engaging curriculum that caters to diverse learning needs.
  4. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to create a supportive learning environment.

Requirements

  • Relevant teaching qualifications and experience in outdoor education and physical education.
  • Proven ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build effective relationships with staff, students, and parents.
  • VIT registration and working rights in Australia.
