Exercise Physiologist

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Exercise Physiologist to join our team at the Keilor East Leisure Centre. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality exercise interventions to support the health and wellbeing of our members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct clinical assessments to identify exercise programs tailored to individual needs and goals
  • Develop and implement customised exercise interventions to manage injury or condition
  • Liaise with medical specialists, GP's and allied health professionals to deliver comprehensive care
  • Provide education and support to enhance overall health and wellbeing
  • Facilitate group rehabilitation classes and promote exercise physiology within the Centre and wider community

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in Exercise Science or related field
  • Current registration with relevant professional associations (e.g. APA)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied hours including weekends and public holidays
