We are currently seeking a Quality Engineer for a permanent role based in our operations.

This position operates on a DIDO basis, featuring a 2:2 roster with accommodation provided.

As a Quality Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to support the execution of the Monadelphous Quality Management policy, systems, and strategies across Central QLD.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Fostering and promoting a positive quality culture within the organization.
  2. Delivering quality assurance support to project teams.
  3. Overseeing QA/QC systems and procedural compliance.
  4. Developing work packs and managing job scheduling.
  5. Regularly updating the Branch Manager, CSG Manager, and Quality/Welding Manager on job status.
  6. Creating and implementing quality deliverables, including Inspection and Test Plans, Field Inspection Check sheets, and welding documentation.
  7. Coordinating non-destructive testing activities.
  8. Preparing Material Data Reports (MDRs).
  9. Issuing Non-Conformance Reports and Field Discrepancy Reports.

Qualifications:
  1. Recognized engineering degree from an Australian institution.
  2. NACE Level 1 Certification and experience with HDPE piping are highly regarded.
  3. Prior experience in a quality role within the resources sector.
  4. Familiarity with quality systems, processes, audits, and industry standards, including ISO:9001.
  5. Strong analytical skills to gather relevant information, identify key issues, and understand cause-effect relationships.

  7. A proactive and motivated approach to quality management and reporting.
  8. A steadfast commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
