Role Overview

The primary objective of this position is to provide authoritative advice on protective security measures and foster a risk-aware positive security culture across various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Guiding organisations through the Zone 5 certification and accreditation process for fixed and deployable SAP facilities, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
  • Providing expert recommendations to Authorising officials on SAPF accreditation, taking into account organisational needs and risks.
  • Acting as the SAPB assistant Government SAP Security Officer (GSSO), supporting the effective implementation of SAP security policies and procedures.
  • Offering administrative support to SAPB business functions, facilitating the smooth operation of security-related activities.

This role involves exposure to a diverse range of activities throughout the SAP lifecycle, requiring adaptability and strong communication skills.
