Job Description

As a Pastoral Carer, you will be responsible for providing holistic care to our patients, which includes offering emotional and spiritual support. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care that addresses the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our clients. Your role will also involve facilitating worship services, leading prayer groups, and providing bereavement support.

Requirements
  • Qualifications in a humanities discipline such as counselling, psychology, education, social work, clinical pastoral education or pastoral ministry
  • Relevant experience providing high-level emotional and spiritual care
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise professional judgment
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional level computer skills
  • Availability and suitability to work irregular and varied weekday shifts as required by the needs of the department
