Job Title: Home Support Worker

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Home Support Worker. As a member of our team, you will provide essential care and support to clients, enabling them to regain independence and live comfortably in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as showering, grooming, and dressing.
  • Social Support
  • Provide companionship and attend appointments or recreational activities with clients.
  • Capacity-Building Activities
  • Help clients develop new skills or increase independence through supportive guidance.
  • Domestic Assistance
  • Support clients with household tasks such as meal preparation, grocery shopping, and light cleaning.
  • Recording Attendance
  • Use technology to record attendance and tasks completed.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate proactive approach to supporting clients' daily living needs.
  • Show commitment to work arrangements that meet clients' requirements.
  • Hold relevant qualifications such as Certificate III in Individual Support or similar discipline.
  • Hold current First Aid and CPR certifications.
  • Possess valid National Police Check (less than a year old) or NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Have a comprehensively insured, registered vehicle.
