About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Hospitality Services Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working and assisting in a variety of areas, including the main kitchen as a cook or kitchen hand and general cleaning of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation of meals to residents both in the dining room and tray service to their rooms
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, dining room, and equipment throughout the shift
- Setting up and cleaning the dining room before and after serving foods
- Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices according to legislation
About You
We are looking for someone who is passionate about cooking and working within a kitchen, and understands the importance of keeping a clean workspace in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you will have:
- Certificate II in Cleaning Operations and/or Certificate II in Kitchen Operations or similar
- Experience working within a kitchen and serving of meals
- Experience working within the Aged Care industry (desirable)
- Current National Police Certificate, or the willingness to complete one
