Job Description

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Publications Writer to join our project team, supporting the modernisation of Australia's critical air defence infrastructure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation that supports the successful implementation and ongoing operation of system upgrades.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with industry-leading commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions in defence technology and gain valuable exposure to complex defence programs.

In this role, you will collaborate with technical teams to document system modifications, integration approaches, and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and maintenance of technical publications and ILS documentation
  • Create and update training materials, operational procedures, and maintenance workflows for system operators and maintainers
  • Collaborate with technical teams to document system modifications, integration approaches, and operational procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A University Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or Technical Writing
  • Demonstrated experience in technical documentation for complex systems integration projects
  • A strong understanding of ILS principles and documentation requirements
