Icon Cancer Centre Australia is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the beautiful region of Mornington.
About the Role:We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to our innovative and dynamic team on a permanent part-time basis. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering nursing care to patients receiving Radiotherapy at our brand-new Cancer Centre in The Bays.
You will work alongside our collaborative team to achieve optimal healthcare outcomes for oncology patients, supervising and delegating tasks as required. Your role involves utilizing available resources to promote and participate in national standards and quality activities, ensuring that care is provided in accordance with the patient's physical, psychological, emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:- Contribute advice and demonstrate contemporary nursing knowledge and skill in oncology nursing practice in accordance with current legislation and professional standards and codes of practice
- Support the Nurse Manager in day-to-day operations
- Support a high-performance culture that delivers quality patient care services through a patient-centred and collaborative approach
- Assess the healthcare needs of patients and formulate, implement, and evaluate a plan of care in partnership with the patient
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with all disciplines, other departments, and the wider professional community
- Actively participate in identifying areas of nursing practice where improvements can be made to the quality of nursing care
We offer a highly competitive remuneration package, including a salary of AU$110,000 per annum, plus substantial yearly professional development leave/allowance and 5 weeks annual leave.

Skills & Experience:- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Radiation Oncology Nursing experience (highly desirable)
- Ability to apply excellent communication and problem-solving skills with both patients and colleagues
