About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Allied Health Assistant to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team at Barwon Health.

As an Allied Health Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting patients and carers to achieve an optimum level of health independence.

You will contribute to the care of patients through the delivery of person-centred, evidence-based services, as directed by, and under the supervision of, the treating Occupational Therapist.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing teaching, supervision, and development of less experienced allied health assistants and allied health assistant students.
  • Undertaking a range of non-clinical duties that support the provision of community rehabilitation services.
