F-35 Program Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Field Support Engineer, providing expert technical support to the F-35 Lightning II program.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work within the F-35 program team, troubleshooting and analysing issues to ensure the Australian Defence Force has access to effective solutions. As a Field Support Engineer, you will be embedded at RAAF Base Williamstown, working closely with the Commonwealth and other stakeholders to maintain collaborative relationships.

You will be responsible for ensuring the availability of aircraft and related support equipment, while also contributing to the development of sovereign capability needs.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Servicing and maintenance of F-35 platform and associated support equipment
  • Analysing and resolving technical issues to ensure programme success
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports on technical metrics and progress
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Extensive experience across Defence aviation, preferably supporting F-35 platform or similar Air Combat aircraft
  • Strong technical understanding and knowledge of engineering principles
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
