We are seeking a Labourer to work with our Height Safety Branch in Brisbane.

As an Edge Protection/Light Duty Scaffold Labourer, you will assist with installing and dismantling our light duty scaffold systems throughout South East Queensland.

This is an ongoing opportunity for fulltime employment. Our working hours are from 6am Monday to Friday.

Each morning you will be assigned to a team, help load/unload the truck, then head out to complete your teams run sheet.

Finish times vary depending on daily workload, location & traffic etc.

Overtime is compensated nicely with penalty rates starting after 8 hours each day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and dismantle scaffolding
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks
  • Work efficiently as part of a team

Requirements:

  • Own Transport
  • Car Licence
  • Construction Card
  • Evidence for the right to work in Australia (Birth Certificate/Passport)
  • Fit and medically capable

Experience in any of the following is preferred but not mandatory:

  • Edge protection / void platforms / hang on platform
  • Scaffolding
  • Working on roofs
  • Working at heights
  • Construction labouring

Job Types: Full-time, Casual

Salary: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Yatala, QLD 4207: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
