Job Title: Shift Manager Urea Plant

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled shift manager to oversee and coordinate the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of our urea plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, maintaining plant integrity, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards, and leading shift personnel in accordance with standard operating procedures and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily operations of the urea plant during assigned shifts
- Achieve production targets while maintaining high safety and quality standards
- Lead and motivate shift personnel to ensure effective teamwork and communication
- Develop and implement strategies to improve plant efficiency and reduce downtime

Requirements:

Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, or equivalent
- Additional certifications in safety or process operations (preferred)

Experience:
- 12–16 years of experience in urea plant operations (preferably with large-scale or integrated chemical complexes)
- At least 5-7 years in a supervisory or shift leadership role

Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of urea & ammonia production processes
- Familiarity with DCS (Distributed Control Systems) and plant automation tools
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills under pressure
- Good understanding of P&IDs, SOPs, Interlock/Logic diagrams, PTW systems, and root cause analysis
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
