Diesel Technician Position

Our workshop is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. This full-time permanent position involves working Monday to Friday and requires the repair and maintenance of various types of Caterpillar equipment.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Diesel Technician who can troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Cat equipment and their components, including hydraulics, transmissions, and engines. The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling accurate reporting and working as part of a high-performing team to maximize efficiency and maintain a safe work environment.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Caterpillar equipment
  • Troubleshoot complex issues with hydraulic systems, transmissions, and engines
  • Compile accurate reports on maintenance activities
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve productivity targets
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess:

  • A certificate III in Mobile Plant with practical experience
  • Previous experience working on Cat machinery (desired)
  • A strong commitment to safety procedures
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with strong work ethic
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen and functional assessment
