Senior Construction Project Coordinator

The role encompasses strategic project planning, oversight, and leadership. Key responsibilities include estimating, planning, and managing construction projects along creek lines/shorelines accessible by a barge.
- Accurate estimation and successful preparation and implementation of quotes in accordance with company financial targets;
- Meeting company benchmarks for quote to job conversion rates;
- Ensuring all projects are completed according to contract specifications efficiently and effectively;
- Maximizing Gross Profitability Margin (GPM) for assigned projects;
- Cost-effective procurement and project management;
- Efficient operation of on-site works including resource provision, sub-contractor engagement, and staffing requirements;
- Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) implementation and management, emphasizing a safety-focused culture;
- On-site supervision and project management of teams to ensure high-quality construction work and compliance with contract specifications;
- Liaising with clients, peers, and reporting to management to deliver client and company requirements consistently and at a superior level of proficiency;
- Reporting project progress to management;
- Concept drawings for engineer's briefs;
- Collaboration with engineers, technicians, and tradespeople;
- Tender/quote submission preparation;
- Contract negotiation with clients and sub-contractors;
- Scheduling and planning all construction operations to meet deadlines.
