About the Role:


We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Cranbrook Care in North Sydney.


As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for:



  • Preparing and providing support with executive reporting requirements and month end closing journals
  • Reconciling and lodging business activity statements
  • Preparing General Ledger and Balance Sheet reconciliation, monthly Payroll Tax, and maintaining Fixed Asset Register
  • Managing the functions of AP/AR and payroll for your allocated residence
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve finance related matters, support other ad-hoc tasks as directed by the CFO and Financial Controller
  • Being a role model for Cranbrook Care culture and operation in accordance with Cranbrook Care cultural values and norms

This is a hands-on role that demands a champion of the Cranbrook Care brand. You will build strong relationships with senior management across the organisation to enable you to perform your day-to-day role.


About You:


You will be a team player and able to work autonomously to provide excellence across our organisation. To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and qualifications:



  • 3+ years' experience in the same or similar role
  • CPA/CA qualified or at a minimum, working toward CPA/CA qualification
  • Proficient in AP/AR functions
  • Solid understanding of the principles of ledger reconciliation
  • Demonstrated experience within a payroll function
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent computer skills in Word and Outlook
  • Experience in aged care or healthcare would be favoured, however not essential
  • Previous experience using EPICOR accounting software would be an advantage
  • Previous experience using Epayroll and Humanforce would be an advantage
  • Takes full responsibility for own actions and deliverables
  • Demonstrated service mentality essential
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and priorities multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to develop key relationships at all levels within an organisation
  • Strong communication skills and an appreciation of the end-user requirements
  • Demonstrates a high level of motivation and initiative
  • Must be well-presented and have attention to detail
  • You will have an empathetic nature and a desire to enhance the quality of life for our residents and their families.
