Financial Analyst Role at IQVIA

As a key member of the IQVIA team, this Financial Analyst role plays a pivotal part in driving business performance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial planning and analysis, with the ability to balance workload and maintain optimal team performance.

This role integrates Accounts Receivable (AR) and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) responsibilities, with a focus on generating monthly AR Aging reports, managing cash collections, and performing monthly AR GL reconciliations. Additionally, the role supports internal and external audits, providing necessary information and handling ad-hoc tasks and reporting.

In terms of FP&A, the Financial Analyst will reconcile department headcount, track movements and cost change, and maintain financial reporting systems. The role also involves assisting with data collection and consolidation, supporting monthly forecasts and month-end financial reports, and aiding in business and strategic planning.

A key aspect of this role is the ability to rebalance priorities, ensuring smooth operations, efficient workload distribution, and robust financial management. This strategic rebalancing enhances the overall performance of the team and the business.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance
  • 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis
  • Proficient in IT, financial reporting, or accounting software
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to conduct financial analysis and gather relevant data to solve routine financial issues
