We are seeking dedicated professionals for casual on-call positions to support the cleanliness of our hospital facilities and ensure a safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

This role involves working alongside healthcare professionals to deliver a high standard of care and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean hazard-free environment for patients, staff, volunteers, and visitors.
  • Ensure the highest possible standard in line with NSW Health Environmental Cleaning Policy.

About the Role:

Our hospital is located in one of NSW's largest Local Government Areas (LGAs) and is a hub of diverse cultures, ethnicities, and socioeconomic backgrounds. This brings a range of experiences to hospital employees and provides varied learning and development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Ability to work a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays with flexibility to work morning, afternoon, and night shifts as required.
  • Ability to navigate a computer to undertake online training modules/update rosters through HealthRoster and view/update the HRIS Human Resources Information System by way of Stafflink.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Infection Prevention principles and WHS legislation.
  • Demonstrated experience in cleaning within a healthcare, commercial, or industrial setting.
  • Ability to work effectively independently or in a group environment.
