Job Title: Route Controller

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with drivers, subcontractors and customers to deliver exceptional service.
  • Supervise subcontractors and fleet requirements for timely and cost-effective completion of daily workloads.
  • Manage transport documentation including load weight/time constraints PODs driver run sheets transfers RDOs etc.
  • Maintain close communication and update on-site customers for seamless execution.
  • Ensure KPI reports are precise and accurate meeting customer expectations.
  • Foster a cooperative relationship among operational transport and administrative staff within the company.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Transport Allocator Scheduler in a busy logistics environment.
  • Great understanding of metropolitan area to optimise delivery routes and schedules.
  • In-depth understanding of load configurations weights and truck trailer type allocation.
  • Proficiency in MS Suite and utilising a TMS and WMS.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
