About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to undertake challenging engineering design solutions for key clients. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading engineering design projects in Perth CBD, Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the subject matter expert in distribution connection and network design in accordance with industry standards.
  • Provide quality control support for the department, ensuring timely delivery of compliant designs.
  • Develop scopes of work through engagement with customers, local authorities, landowners, and power utilities, using network investigations and data analysis.
  • Complete complex design projects for distribution networks and connections, including commercial connections, generation connections, and large-scale underground power conversions.
  • Manage client interactions and maintain professional relationships.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience with electricity distribution networks.
  • BEng/BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • National Registered Engineer (NER) or Chartered Engineer.
  • Proficiency in GIS, design, and drafting software.
  • Experience in preparing designs, material lists, estimating connection costs, and obtaining customer approvals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication abilities.
