About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Caregiving Professional to join our team.

As a Caregiving Professional, you will work closely with our residents to provide personalized care and support, enhancing their quality of life and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support residents in living their lives with dignity and independence
  • Contribute to the overall quality of life of our residents, addressing their physical, emotional, and lifestyle needs
  • Implement care interventions as delegated by Registered Nurses, ensuring high-quality care delivery
  • Assist residents with personal care and hygiene needs while promoting independence
  • Prioritize workloads effectively, delivering care with compassion and decency
  • Show kindness and patience when interacting with residents, respecting their individual needs, privacy, and dignity

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, Aged Care Act, and Quality of Care Principles
  • Reliability to work a roster with set shifts and basic computer skills
  • Working knowledge of WH&S and infection control
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (or currently working towards)
  • Previous experience in aged care is preferred but not essential
