Student Wellbeing Assistant

**Job Description:**
We are seeking an experienced Teacher Aide to support the wellbeing of our Junior/Primary School students. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, maintaining and supporting students' emotional and behavioural regulation in a dedicated 'Chill Out Space'. They will also liaise with families via phone for pick-ups and follow all identified support strategies that may be in place for our students.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Support students and team to deliver on student wellbeing
- Plan resourcing under the Learning Enrichment Leaders to ensure the Wellbeing Space is adequately resourced to deliver on key tasks
- Manage the Student Wellbeing Space to effectively attend to first aid and student wellbeing processes
- Respond to student behaviour incidents using a restorative approach
- Be an active team member by modelling and supporting working in 'The Silkwood Way'

**Requirements:**
- Qualified Teacher Aide with a minimum 2 years' experience
- Experience in supporting students' wellbeing and engagement
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with families and other staff members
